This video provides a short introduction to the basic building blocks of a typical Brian Wilson production in 1965. A very interesting year, 1965 served as a bridge between Brian’s concept of the Beach Boys’ music as an in-house operation and his later, limitless productions. In the video I show you some of the instruments I’ve collected as part of my research into how this music was made.
